Honda Civic RS 2024

The Honda Civic RS 2024 is a popular car, manufactured by a local automobile manufacturer and subsidiary of Honda, Atlas Honda. The car has gone through several generations since its global launch in 1972, with each iteration featuring various upgrades and improvements.

Honda Civic RS 2024 Overview

The second-generation Honda Civic was launched in 1979 and had more interior space and better engine power than its predecessor. The third generation was launched globally in 1983 and won the “1983 Car of the Year Japan Award” for its improved build quality and comfortable interior. The fifth-generation Honda Civic, introduced in 1991, was Honda’s most fuel-efficient model at the time and won the ‘Japan Car of the Year’ award.

The 6th generation Honda Civic, commonly referred to as “EK,” was the first Honda to be locally assembled in Pakistan. It came with different suspension and engine options and was available in different body styles and engine configurations internationally, but only sedans were available in the Pakistani market. The 8th generation Honda Civic, which was launched globally in September 2005 but came to Pakistan in 2006, was known as the “Reborn” in the Pakistani market and had a 1.8-liter engine.

The 10th generation Honda Civic, known as the Civic X, was launched in Pakistan in 2016 and is a front-engine, front-wheel-drive, subcompact sedan. It is available in 3 variants in Pakistan: 1.8-litre, 1.8-litre VTI Oriel, and 1.5 RS Turbo, while globally it is sold in 4 variants: EX-L.

The all-new Honda Civic 2024 showcases an attractive design language with a modern front grille that reflects a new-generation style. Up front, the car is equipped with daytime running lights with an auto-off timer for convenience. Standard and Aural variants are equipped with halogen projector headlamps, while the RS variant gets stylish LED headlamps. Additionally, the Civic RS offers additional features such as auto headlights, auto headlight adjustment, and auto high beam functionality. Moreover, the RS variant stands out with its front fog lights and panoramic sunroof, which provide a better driving experience that is not available in the base variants. Other notable standard features across all variants include a one-touch lane blinker, side mirrors with integrated turn signals, lens-type tail lamps, electrically adjustable door mirrors, and remote retractable mirrors.

Standard and Aural variants come with electric power steering wrapped in urethane, while the RS variant features a leather-wrapped steering wheel. All variants are equipped with a steering wheel that offers tilt and telescopic adjustments and a simple steering switch for easy control. Behind the steering wheel, you will find a 7-inch TFT multi-information instrument display that provides essential vehicle information. The Civic seats are upholstered in high-grade fabric and offer height adjustment, ensuring optimal comfort for all occupants. The front and rear armrests come with cup holders, providing convenient storage for drinks. The Honda Civic 2024 is available in two variants: Standard/Oriel and RS. The standard/Oriel variant is equipped with a 1498cc DOHC dual VTC engine, which delivers a maximum output of 95 kW at 5500–6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 180 Nm at 1700–4500 rpm. It is paired with an M-CVT transmission, providing smooth and efficient gear shifts. On the other hand, the RS variant is powered by a 1498cc DOHC Dual VTEC engine, which produces a maximum output of 131 kW at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 131 Nm at 6000 rpm. This variant is equipped with an LL-CVT transmission, which ensures a dynamic driving experience.
